- Pop the hood, and disconnect the positive terminal on the battery using the open-end wrench.
- Move the driver’s seat forward, and locate the air bag control box.
- Pull out the orange tab that holds the center of the wiring harness release tab in place, using your hands.

First note that while most airbag wiring is yellow in color, wrapped in yellow tape, or have a yellow connector, there are some exceptions. If for example, the SRS wiring is part of a larger harness it may not be marked as part of the SRS wiring.
